New single ‘Old White Lincoln’ released December 1st

Limited Edition 7”/ CD Single / Digital

UK Dates and Vans in-store signing in December!

(Side One Dummy)

www.gaslightanthem.com  |  www.myspace.com/thegaslightanthem

“The Best New Band You’ll Hear In 2008” – Kerrang! Cover feature

“One of the most inspirational rock shows we’ve seen all year” – NME

The Gaslight Anthem hail from New Brunswick, New Jersey and their anthemic tales of Americana life have captured the imagination and hearts of fans and media alike.

The band’s sophomore album ‘The ’59 Sound’ is heralded as one of the best albums of 2008. Kerrang! magazine put the band on the cover before they had ever written a word about them, NME called it the “best album of 2008” and other immensely positive press has come from RockSound, Big Cheese, Q magazine and The Sun as well as great US press in the form of Alternative Press, Rolling Stone and Spin.

After an incredible UK debut at the Reading Festival (followed by blinding sets at Leeds and 3 small hectic headline shows in Manchester, Nottingham and London) The Gaslight Anthem return to the UK in December to finish up what is becoming a very successful 2008. To coincide with the dates, they’ll be releasing their second single from ‘The ’59 Sound’ – the suitably anthemic ‘Old White Lincoln’ – on December 1st. the band will also be signing copies at the London Vans Store on the same day.

The dates are as follows:

December

1st        London, Vans Store (signing session)

3rd:       Glasgow, Garage

4th        Manchester, Academy 3

5th        London, LA2

 ,

Tickets are priced at £12.00 for the regional shows and £12.50 for London and are available from the usual agents.

I AM GHOST TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘BONE GARDEN’ ON 8th DECEMBER

 ,

PLUS UK Tour with Blessed By A Broken Heart in December

Sophomore Album Those We Leave Behind in stores now

,

As I Am Ghost hit UK shores with their hard-hitting dark post-hardcore in December, they’ll also be releasing the first UK single to be lifted from recent sophomore album, Those We Leave Behind. The crushing Bone Garden is a great representation of the album’s seamless melding of metal, melodic-hardcore and scream elements. Sweeping sing-along choruses are also integrated to startling effect.

 ,

Recorded with producer Paul Leavitt (Senses Fail, The Bled, Circa Survive) in Baltimore, MD, Those We Leave Behind contains fourteen turbulent tracks of brooding passion-fuelled rock infused with monstrously accessible hooks and Bone Garden is no exception.

 ,

After a line-up change in late 2007, Steve Juliano (vocals) along with Timoteo Rosales III (guitars), Ron Ficarro (bass) and Justin McCarthy (drums) have re-focused the band’s direction, returning to the powerful raw rock that inspired them to make music in the first place.

 ,

Blending fantasy and reality in his twisted tales of death and tragedy, Juliano seems to revel in showing the world’s beauty in decay on songs like the massive anthem Don’t Wake Up, the ode to the fallen Those We Leave Behind and the heart wrenching tale of The Saddest Story Never ToldThose We Leave Behind is a sonic stake in the heart of safe, conformist music, defiantly confirming I Am Ghost’s place among the scenes most elite bands.

,

With a reenergized passion and energy, I Am Ghost, are set to unveil their new music to their legion of fans on the band’s European tour this winter. They kicked off the tour in style in Greece and you can check out some of their adventures here:

airbourne live showAirbourne are gigging in the UK at the moment before shooting off to France and to conquor Europe and as usual their shows have been getting rave reviews with their true rock ‘n roll raucous act ..

,

“All right people/Welcome to the show/Are you ready to rock?/Are you ready to go?/Now we’ve got what you want/And we’ve got what you need/So get your ass down here/And let your ears bleed.” – Stand Up For Rock’N’Roll

Seth Lakeman- the West Country born singer songwriter credited with taking folk to a new audience with his rhythmic, urgent performances and lyrically engrossing albums- is set to take his highly touted live show on the road in October for his largest headline tour to date.
,

Seth’s critically acclaimed third album ‘Poor Man’s Heaven’ charted at number 8 in the UK on it’s release earlier this year, an unprecedented achievement for a so-called ‘folk inspired’ artist. Produced in large part by Seth’s brother and fellow band member, Sean Lakeman, ‘Poor Man’s Heaven’ (out now on Relentless) represents a progression for Seth’s sound – while remaining firmly rooted in folk, it moves from a more acoustic-based feel to a fuller, rockier sound, underpinned as ever by emotive lyrics and story telling, this time with a strong coastal theme. It is also the closest representation on record of Seth’s live show yet, capturing the rhythmic, raw energy seldom seen in any other acoustic band.

,
Seth plays the following dates:

,

October

22nd Wolverhampton, Wulfrun

23rd Liverpool Academy

24th Lincoln, Engine Shed

25th Northampton Roadmender

26th Cambridge, Junction

28th Oxford Academy

29th Bristol Academy

30th Aberdeen, Lemon Tree

31st Dundee Fat Sams

,

November

4th Newcastle Academy

5th Sheffield Leadmill

6th London Shepherds Bush

7th Portsmouth Pyramid

8th Manchester Academy

9th Leeds Met
